Business Analyst Rapid Application Platform

The Business Analyst is part of the Rapid Application Platform and is one of the professionals who do the work of delivering a potentially releasable increment of the product at the end of each sprint. Product Teams are structured and empowered by the organization to organize and manage their own work. The resulting synergy optimizes the Product Team’s overall efficiency and effectiveness. The Business Analyst supports the Product Owner in translating product needs and requirements into deliverable units of work—Epics/Features/Stories. He/she will work with the Product Team and partners to ensure end-product meets business requirements. Key Responsibilities:   Analysis & Requirements Gathering
Understand the business strategy elements in order to analyse and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes. Supports Product Owner to define and own the value definition of Stories; Works with the Product Owner to understand, elicit, analyze, document and communicate program and platform/application requirements. Facilitate requirements discussions with key stakeholders. Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task & workflow analysis. Elicit functional and non-functional (performance, availability, security, accessibility, cross-browser compliance) requirements using a methodology most appropriate for the context. Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to analyse information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artefacts as needed: product backlogs, user stories, detailed business requirements documents and use cases. Supports the Product Owner with facilitate the gathering, definition and prioritization of requirements with key stakeholders. Supporting the Product Owner to breakdown, decompose and describe business needs into Stories. Works ahead of team to elicit requirements for the next Sprint's Stories. Clarify and improve the business processes impacted by the technology changes that are part of the Rapid Application Development. Preferable subject matter expertise in Rapid/Low-code application development platform (Outsystems, MS PowerApps)
Product Delivery:

Keep up with relevant developments in own functional area and ensure development, transfer and retention of knowledge. Is together with team members end-to-end responsible to deliver the value of a Robotics & Automation Product through the entire Product life cycle; Together with the team, deliver working product enhancements with the allocated timescale and quality standards that minimize rework and aspire a zero defect culture. Supports the Product Owner to engage stakeholders to ensure the Product Team is receiving necessary inputs. Is self-organising with other team members. There is no separate management layer, work is planned and executed by the team. Is multidisciplinary – ensuring that the key competencies and expertise needed to develop, build, deploy and support the Robotics & Automation Product are embedded in the team. Is able to reduce complexity of the work that has to be done. Ensures consistency of the overall solution. Participates in the selection of new technologies; Provides guidance and coaching to other product team members on changes throughout the design process; Manages the quality of the solution and technical debt. Is responsible for ensuring the overall standards and best practices are adhered by (i.e. Quality, Compliance). Identifies potential bottlenecks and their underlying causes that affect the product and proposes how to resolve these. Maintains awareness of emerging technologies, industry trends, and solution best practices; and evaluate them for applicability.
Solution Design & Integrity Management

Ensure global governance around the development, usage and exploitation of the Applications Give input into solution designs by means of functional requirements across process, data, and technology that meet business requirements and adhere to relevant standards and principles, leverage common tools and processes, and meet cost/delivery objectives. Actively participate in discussions on solution options and business partner decision making Through exploration and creativity, develop and propose new technology or rationalization opportunities and bring these forth in discussions with architects, engineers, other business analysts and the business. Perform reviews with key stakeholders throughout the design lifecycle to ensure alignment on solution designs and requirements. This may include but is not limited to the following activities: provide support to design team, testing execution, deployment verifications, customer satisfaction reviews, etc.
